Allyson Felix
Allyson Melissa Felix was born at Los Angeles, California on November 18, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix had an early aptitude to play sports while studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting potential at the at the time. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks, after her first attempt. Felix signed a contract for a professional career with Adidas in 2003, and later enrolled in University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. Felix set an Junior World Record running 200 metres in 22.18 second. The youngest to win the 200 meters during the World Championships in Helsinki in the year 2005. She won her medal the following year, by beating the long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently in the top three of athletes at her particular events.
