Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix a Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as their mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident from the moment she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Just 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished in second place in the 200 meters during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from her high school education and was signed to an agreement with Adidas. In 2004, she was enrolled at the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. She broke a Junior World Record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 second. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world for running 200m. She won the title in 2007. was able to defend the title against her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently within the top three throughout her races during the Olympics that took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
